Our Generation of Young Professionals Could Conceivably Witness the Advent of Frequent Off-Planet Travel. Should we be going? Why? Don’t we have enough problems on Earth?

NASA is keeping track of thousands of pieces of space junk and debris floating around up there. I wouldn't risk getting liquified by something moving 20,000 miles an hour!
