Now that the debate on healthcare in the United States is heating up, both proponents and detractors of reform are comparing our system with others around the world. How do these systems work and are they really better than the U.S. system? Or do they deny their people the best healthcare possible? What can we learn from their experiences, and do they apply to the situation in the U.S.?
